"My favorite is the Pomegranate Balsamic Vinegar Reduction - I substitute this in chicken, pork and salmon marinades in place of regular balsamic vinegar. It adds a subtle hint of sweetness that is delicious and unexpected."

Julie's Salmon Marinade Recipe (recipe based on 4 - 4 oz fillets):
Mix together over low heat, stirring frequently

  • 3 TB soy sauce
  • 2 TB honey or brown sugar
  • 1 TB pomegranate balsamic vinegar reduction
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp fair trade olive oil
  • 1/2 lemon juiced (or 1-2 TB lemon juice)
  • pinch of cayenne (optional)

Marinate thawed salmon fillets for 20-30 minutes in fridge
Discard marinade
Grill, blacken or bake until fish flakes easily.
